A mouth is an interesting symbol, it implies so many different meanings. It takes food into our bodies, and it is a tool for humans to communicate. It is an important feature to help express emotions, and it can spread things, good or bad. It can be sweet as honey, yet it can be so hurtful to destroy one’s heart. A mouth is a symbol with complex messages, with implications of ideas that conflict themselves.

In yummi, I discuss finding the self and loving the self through the sequence, emotions, and colors of portraits of mouths.
